on iceland is the icelandic horses very important. they never cut the mane and tail so is very long and thick. They live around 25-30 years. their weight is 300-400 kg. you can find a lot of horses on iceland. Probably is around 80-100000 horses and every year is been around 7000 foal. Them want to live with many other horses. The horses learn from friends, the older horses and the mother. When the horses is 4-5 years old can you begin to ride and how to behave with people. You can ride the horses over mountains, elvs, places thats difficult to move on.
If you go back 70 years you ride everywhere to the shop, to the church and to the neigbors. Two things the icelandic horses are famus for are fast or quick and for their resilence. The creature who have the natural right to iceland is the horses. Icelandic horses are very steady when they been riding. The horses is out whole the years. Now you most ride for fun. The horses is around 125-145 cm high. Five diffrent noun and known as walk, trot, running walk, gallop and pace.
